1st techno-research-startup Conference organized by Universal innovators;SIIF and Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies

Channel88News (Buero):-India’s first Techno-Research-Startup 3 day meet organized by Universal innovators, SIIF and Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies held at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies in association with National Institute of Technology Patna and University of Valladolid, Spain happened between 21st-23rd Feb 2020. This was the 3-day mega event consisted of “Where Startup meets investor” event and International Conference ICICC-2020, attended by more than 800 startup entrepreneurs, researchers, students, industrialists, academicians and scientists.

The 3-day event started with the first ever “Where Startup Meets Investor”, where young and established 29 startups pitched their ideas in front of 15 VC & Angel investors and Jury members for direct funding. Indian Angel Networks, Nasscom, TiE Group, Huddle, 100x.VC, and many more angel investors took part in the event. More than 10 startups cleared the first round of direct funding. This event was inaugurated by Dr. Poonam Verma, Principal SSCBS, Dr. Ashish Khanna, Dr. Deepak Gupta of Universal Innovators and Mr. Naresh Priyadarshi, CEO SIIF. Around 150 strong community of startups and investors attended the meet on the first day of the event which also witnessed 5 invited talks on several topics of startup development stages by keynote speakers.

On day 2, International Conference on innovative Computing and Communication (ICICC-2020) was inaugurated by the launching Springer AISC series and Elsevier SSRN series proceedings. Some of the supporters were SRGE (Scientific Research Group), Egypt, SETIT (sciences and Technology of Image and Telecommunications), Tunisia, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Digital India, National Productivity Council, SGRT (Scientific group of Research and Technology), sponsored by Axure, Gatsby, Scupo, Jet Brains, Publication partner IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, Tailor & Francis, Wiley, MDPI, Inderscience, IOS Press, and Bentham Science.

The conference has been inaugurated in presence of Chief Guest Prof. Pankaj Jalote, Founder Director, IIIT Delhi, Guest of Honour Prof. Vineet Kansal, PVC, AKTU, Lucknow, Prof. Pankaj Sinha, Chairman, Governing Body SSCBS, Dr. Poonam Verma, Principal, SSCBS, Dr. Prabhat Kumar, NIT Patna, Prof. Siddhartha Bhattacharyya, CHRIST University, Dr. Zdzislaw Polkowski, UJW Poland, Dr. Sameer Anand, Dr. Ajay Jaiswal, Dr. Ashish Khanna, Dr. Deepak Gupta, Conveners of ICICC-2020.

ICICC-2020 have received a total of 803 papers with only 195 papers have been accepted for publication in Springer AISC series with an acceptance ratio of just 24% and only 121 papers have been accepted for publication in Elsevier SSRN series with an acceptance ratio of just 15%. The event has a participation of over 700 delegates/researchers/students from 24 countries during the 3 days of techno research meet. Last year the ICICC conference was organized at Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, Europe.
