Ludhiana, June 30,Channel88 News (Buero):- Under the Mission Fateh of the Punjab government, the institutions of higher education today created awareness amongst the students by using online medium and urged them to contribute to make Mission Fateh campaign successful.
Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Sharma appreciated the efforts of institutions of higher education and urged people from all sections of society to contribute in their own way so that we can weed out COVID 19 from our society.
Mr Dharam Singh Sandhu, Principal, SCD Government College, Ludhiana, said that as per the directions of the Punjab government and District Administration, all the students were motivated to make the masses aware about the ways to keep themselves safe from COVID 19. The students were also urged to take care of their own health as well as of their family members. All the students were urged to download COVA app on their mobile phones and should participate in the Mission Fateh contest.
Mr Varinder Sharma said that to win the war against COVID 19, people have been educated about washing hands repeatedly or use hand sanitiser, should stay alert about the entry of outsiders in their premises, should track patients, should maintain social distancing, use COVA app, importance of home quarantine, fly like symptoms, restrictions, fines, besides several others. He said that the Ludhiana residents should understand that they should stay alert from falling prey to COVID 19 as the danger is still there. He urged the citizens to share this information would people close to them.
He said that the under the Mission Fateh of the Punjab government, different government departments are education the masses as per the schedule. He said that the School Education Department on July 1, Social Security Women and Child Development Department on July 2, Health and Family Welfare Department on July 3, Sports and Youth Services Department on July 4 and by Cooperation Department on July 5.
