DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION CHANGES THE TIMING AND STRENGTH OF SEWA KENDRA’S

Ludhiana, September 3,Channel88 News (Bureau):- In compliance to the guidelines issued by Dept. of Home and considering public convenience due to demand of services, District Administration has decided that the Sewa Kendras of the district will be operational from 03.09.2020 (Monday to Saturday) onwards as per the limited manpower strength and timings.
Mr Sandeep Kumar Additional Deputy Commissioner (D) said that Urban Sewa Kendras will be operational in two batches. First batch will work with 50% staff from 8 AM to 1:30 PM and the second batch will work with 50% from 1:30 PM to 6 PM. Likewise, Rural Sewa Kendras will work with a single batch of 100% staff from 9 AM to 5 PM.
He said that 276 Services are being provided through a total of 38 Sewa Kendra in Ludhiana District even in this COVID-19 pandemic. There are 29 Urban Sewa Kendra (namely, DC Office, Rakh Bagh, Atam Park, Civil Hospital Ludhiana, Daresi Ground, Shingar Cinema, Tajpur Road, PSPCL Kakowal Road, PSPCL Janta Nagar, PSPCL Giaspura, Daba, Leisure valley, Karabara Chowk, Sherpur Chowk, Dholewal Chowk, Haibowal, Govt. School Mundian, Payal, Jal Ghar Khanna, Doraha, MC Khanna, Jagraon, Samrala, Raikot, MC Jagraon, Machhiwara, Maloudh, Sahnewal, Mullanpur Dakha) and 9 rural Sewa Kendra (Sidhwan Bet, Manuka, Pakhowal, Sudhar, Hambran, Rattan, Dehlon Koomkalan, Ishru)
