Ludhiana, November 10, Channel88 News (Bureau):- The Punjab Government has appointed Satinder Pal Singh Gill as the Chairman of Punjab Genco Limited.
According to an official spokesperson the New & Renewable Energy Sources Department has issued a notification in this regard.
The spokesman further said that terms and conditions of Gill’s appointment would be governed under the instructions issued by the Directorate of Punjab Enterprises and Disinvestment, Department of Finance from time to time.
Notably, Satinder Pal Singh Gill, who hails from Ludhiana, is son of Ex Minister Jagdev Singh Tajpuri. He served as General Secretary of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee and Vice President of Punjab Youth Congress. Gill was also President of Milk Producers Co-operative Society, Tajpur and Vice President of the Rollers Flour Mills Association of Punjab.
