Kolkata judge’s husband alleges torture by CID, agency calls claims ‘baseless’

Kolkata High Court judge Amrita Sinha’s husband has claimed that he was tortured by the West Bengal Criminal Investigation Department (CID) interrogation in connection with a property dispute case. However, the agency denied his claims, saying those were ‘concocted and baseless statements’.
