Ludhiana, January 22: (Bureau) Moving forward to upgrade the road infrastructure, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi and ward incharge of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) former councillor Rakesh Prashar inaugurated the project to reconstruct streets in Sukhram Nagar of ward number 90 on Sunday.
The project is being taken up at a cost of around Rs 33 lakhs.
MLA Ashok Prashar and former councillor Rakesh Prashar said that the project has been initiated on the demand of the residents. A similar project is already going on to reconstruct the streets in Bearing market (near Jagraon bridge). Soon a project would also be initiated to reconstruct the streets of Shehzada Mohalla.
MLA Prashar said that the AAP led state government is working to improve infrastructure across the state. A large number of development projects are being taken up in Ludhiana Central constituency and more such projects would be inaugurated in the coming days.
Keval Krishan, Kala Malhotra, Jatinder Sethi, Lalit Kapoor, Jugal Kishore, Vishal Joshi, Sunil Dhingra, Raja Sharda, Vinod Gupta, Puneet Madaan, Bobby Gupta, Jatinder Madaan, Jaswinder Bunti, Sonu Verma, Deepa Sharma, Dhiraj Batra among others were also present during the inauguration ceremony.
