Agriculture Ordinances will not prove beinificial for Farmers- Maheshinder Grewal

Shrimonani Akali Dal will protest against ordinances on September 25- Grewal, Gosha

Ludhiana, Channel88 News (Bureau):- Former Minister and senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader Maheshinder Singh Grewal said that the Agriculture ordinances presented and supported by Union Government will not be benificial for farmers and nation. To oppose the ordinances and support farmers, Shiromani Akali Dal will hold protest and block traffic for three hours on September 25.

Maheshinder Singh Grewal said that if farmers were not demanding any ordinance or law then why the government is in hurry of passing ordinance in Parliament. Grewal said that the have chalked out strategy to oppose the ordinances and will hold protest which will force the government to change the decision.

Maheshinder Singh Grewal said that like other parties, Shiromani Akali Dal does not belive in cheap politcs. SAD president had opposed the ordinance in Lok Sabha and also met President of india requesting him not to sign the ordinances Harsimrat Kaur Badal has also resigned as Union Minister which proved that Shiromani Akali Dal is standing rocksolid with famrers. Now, the Shiromani Akali dal will fight with farmers on roads.

Youth Akali Dal district President Gurdeep SIngh Gosha said that following the cal of party president they have assigned the duties for protest. He said that earlier, the party president has opposed the ordinance in Lok Sabha and now the party will struggle on roads against the ordinance.

During the meeting, Gagandeep Singh Giaspura, Jaswinder SIngh Saggu, Jasvir Singh Mankoo, Amarjot Singh, Sukhwinder Singh Lotey, Sukhminder Singh Salh and Amrik Singh Jassal were present.
