Reviews progress of schemes namely Sarkar Tuhade Dwar, doorstep delivery of services etc. Ludhiana, January 30:(Bureau) Newly appointed Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney today reiterated her firm commitment in ensuring that people should get maximum benefit of welfare schemes in District Ludhiana. She also directed the officials to ensure zero pendency in the delivery of services. Upon her joining today afternoon, the DC chaired a meeting of senior District Administration officials at her office in District Administrative Complex, here.
In this meeting, progress of various government flagship schemes such as Sarkar Tuhade Dwar, doorstep delivery of services etc.
She said that the district administration is fully committed to providing citizen services in a smooth, hassle-free and transparent manner. Reviewing the progress of doorstep delivery of citizen services, DC Sakshi Sawhney directed the officials to ensure applicants do not face any sort of problem while availing the benefit of these services. She also asked the officials to obtain all the necessary verification from revenue officers so as to facilitate applicants opting for doorstep delivery of these services.
Deputy commissioner also stated that any kind of inordinate delay in these services will be highly unwarranted as she was personally monitoring the progress of all welfare programs on a daily basis.
